Today we received orders to Malmstrom AFB in Great Falls, MT. We were hopeful for an assignment to Colorado Springs, but it did not happen. We are excited to be moving somewhere more affordable to live as well as a state that has the same ideals we have in raising our family. We have enjoyed California and have had the opportunity to do fun things in this state as well as see a lot of the state, but it has been time to move on for some time. We moved here in July of 2006 and will be leaving in April of 2013, a long time to be at one duty station. The main things we are looking forward to are:
- Buying a house
- Different scenery
- A white Christmas (Sonjia)
- Endless camping trips in beautiful settings (Tim)
- Living in a town versus living on a military base
- And so many other things
